Customer Conditions

We’re back! From Monday 20th July we will be re-opening the inside of our restaurant. We will continue to provide our takeaway service on most days & will also have outdoor seating available.

While you’re dining with us
We will be operating a full table service. Please do not come to the bar for drinks, orders or bills.
Please keep social distancing in mind at all times.
We will be limiting our menus provided to one per pair – more can be given upon request.
The toilet will be operating under a 1 in 1 out policy. Please do not queue for the toilet – if you need to use the toilet only get up to do so once the previous person has vacated the toilet.
The maximum table capacity for groups from more than 2 households is 6 people. Our maximum table capacity for groups from two households only is 10 people.
We are accepting bookings both over the phone and at www.resdiary.com
We have limited our inside dining capacity to 20 covers and advise that you book your table as opposed to showing up as a ‘walk in’. We have limited our capacity of tables able to book in one 30 minute slot to 2 tables to avoid tables showing up at the same time and urge you to please show up for your booking at the correct time.
Walk in tables will be available but track & trace details must be taken.

Arrival & Leaving
Please do not come to the restaurant and cancel your booking if you or anyone in your household is feeling unwell/displaying COVID-19 symptoms
Upon arrival, please to come the bar to advise us of your booking. If your table is ready we will seat you; if your table is not ready yet you will be asked to wait outside of the restaurant adhering to social distancing restrictions.
We may ask for further details upon your arrival to comply with the Governments Track & Trace programme.
Hand sanitiser will be available on the bar and we ask all customers to use this before they are seated. Hand sanitiser will also be provided on every table.
When leaving the restaurant, please keep in mind social distancing, avoid getting too close to other tables when leaving & leave in a single-file line. We ask that you wait for you bill at your table and do not come to the bar to pay.

Takeaway
We will continue providing our takeaway service. Orders will be taken for takeaway from the hatch located next to the restaurants entrance door. Please queue in the line provided and use the flags/flagpoles as your 1 metre distance markers. Once your order has been placed, we ask that you find an area close to the restaurant on the beach until your order number is called. Takeaway customers are not permitted to use our toilet – the closest public toilet is situated in Southchurch Park.
